Two deaths were reported in the city on Tuesday. Police said a woman, in her 20s, was allegedly strangled by her husband on Tuesday. Police said Aqila Bibi, a resident of 2/FW, was found dead at her home. She had been strangled with a rope. Police have been looking for her husband, Muhammad Akram, who is missing since the incident. A neighbour, Asghar, told police that Akram had been unemployed for a few months and had arguments with his wife over money. Elsewhere, a five-year-old boy died after swallowing insecticide in Sadiqabad.
