Cycling: Asif clinches national road race
Clinched the National Road Cycle Race after recording a time of three hours, 21 minutes and 20 seconds.
HYDERABAD:
Railways’ Muhammad Asif clinched the National Road Cycle Race after recording a time of three hours, 21 minutes and 20 seconds as Lyari and Karachi shared the top positions. A total of 52 cyclists took part and pedalled a distance of 153 kilometres from Karachi to Hyderabad. Sameer Ali finished two seconds slower than Asif, while Abdul Wahab was another two seconds behind to finish third. Cyclists from all the provinces took part in the race with Punjab's Asif Ali and Waqas Ahmed securing fourth and fifth positions.
