Alleged kidnapping: Teenaged girl abducted from Mansehra

MANSEHRA:


A teenaged girl was abducted and cash and valuables were stolen from her house in Chita Bata village on Saturday afternoon.


Talking to the police, Abdul Qayum accused Abdul Wajid and Muhammad Khan of kidnapping his 18-year-old daughter, Rabia, when he and his wife were away.

He said that Wajid had asked for his daughter’s hand in marriage, but he had refused the offer.

He also accused the two men of taking gold ornaments weighing two tolas and Rs150,000 from his house.

The police registered a criminal case against the two accused. However, none of them could be arrested till the filing of this report. *Name has been changed to protect identity
