Book launch: The benefits of healthy cooking explained

The book would be translated in Urdu for it to reach a greater number of readers.

A book on natural foods, their benefits and healthy cooking, titled “Bounties of Health” by Fawzia Memon, was launched in Islamabad on Friday. Speaking on the occasion, founder of Heartfile, Dr Sania Nishtar, said, “Nutrition is the foundation on which health rests, and culinary skills the instrument through which that bedrock is founded.


Exploiting a synergy between the two is an art, and by that measure, this book, a masterpiece.”

The book is divided into sections. about vegetables, fruits, herbs and their benefits, a second section about ailments and how to deal with them through a proper diet, with the third section being cooking recipes.

Memon said that the book would be translated in Urdu for it to reach a greater number of readers. The launch was attended by a large number of diplomats and their spouses.
