Flood rehabilitation: Affected advised to claim damages

Flood affected in Sargodha, Khushab, Mianwali, Bhakkar, Layyah, Jhang, Multan and DG Khan to file claims by June 30

LAHORE: Mujahid Sherdil, the Provincial Disaster Management Authority director general, on Friday directed the people, affected by the floods in 2010, to file claims of the damages suffered. He said the flood affected in Sargodha, Khushab, Mianwali, Bhakkar, Layyah, Jhang, Multan and DG Khan have been directed to file their claims by June 30. Those in Muzaffargarh, Rajanpur and Rahim Yar Khan have been given till July 15. He said claims will not be entertained after these dates. He said Watan Cards for Rs40,000 relief each

have been distributed among 330,231 flood affected so far.
