Accident: Factory worker killed, another injured
Ahmed was shifted to Women and Children Hospital Haripur for further treatment
HARIPUR:
A labourer was killed while his co-worker was critically injured when they were hit by a falling cement block at the Hattar Industrial Estate on Wednesday. Police and factory administration said that the workers were busy stacking cement blocks at Pak Drain Block Factory Hattar, when a stack went off-balance and fell on the two workers, identified as Muhammad Anwar (son of Lal Khan) and Naveed Ahmed. They were shifted to the Kotnajibulla Rural Health Centre where Anwar died of injuries. Ahmed was shifted to Women and Children Hospital Haripur for further treatment, where his condition is stated to be out of danger.
