Atc case: Policeman testifies in kidnapping case
The case deals with the kidnapping of three men while they were en route to a farmhouse.

A police officer who initially heard a complaint of the kidnapping in Gadap Town in May 2010 testified at the Anti-Terrorism Court III.
The case deals with the kidnapping of three men, including a lieutenant colonel of the Pakistan Army, while they were en route to a farmhouse.
The officer told the court that on May 8, 2010, he was at the police station when a man entered with a complaint that his uncle and two of his friends had been allegedly kidnapped in Gadap Town. The officer and the complainant went to the farmhouse, where the complainant met dozens of people but the officer said that he did not hear anyone say that they had witnessed the kidnapping.
The officer was cross examined by defence lawyers who attempted to find holes in his testimony and discrepancies in how the complaint was eventually filed.
Wali Mohammad is among the men accused of carrying out the kidnapping.
The FIR was filed under sections of the Pakistan Penal Code that deal with kidnapping and common intent, as well as under section 7 (e) of the Anti-Terrorism Act.
The men were rescued on June 27, 2010 in a joint operation by the Balochistan and Sindh police.
