Boxing: PAF dominate Peshawar event
Four of their players made it to the finals in their categories of the event underway at the Peshawar Sports Complex.

PAF continued their domination of the All Pakistan Governor Cup Boxing Tournament as four of their players made it to the finals in their respective categories of the event underway at the Peshawar Sports Complex. In the 49-kilogramme event, Obaid Ali defeated Army’s Ashfaq Masih, while Mohammad Daud outplayed Sindh boxer Jahanzad. In the 52-kg category, Syed Israr of Sindh downed Kashif of Fata, Abdul Waleed defeated Naseer Hussain of Balochistan. In the 65-kg event, Asif Raza of Navy outclassed Tahir Khan of Balochistan and Abid Ali of PAF defeated Sajad of Army. Sheraz defeated Fahim of PAF and Muhammad Hussain of Sindh defeated Army boxer Adil in the 60-kg category. In the 64-kg bout, Mer Balach of Sindh defeated Muhammad Bilal of Punjab and Muhammad Amjad of PAF defeated Shakeel Khan of Army.
