Lawyer’s death: Police accused of negligence
Lahore Bar Association, said that Advocate Fouzia Bashir was injured by her relatives a few days back

The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday sought a reply from the police on a petition seeking a case against a DSP and the Shadbagh SHO for alleged negligence that resulted in the death of a lawyer.
Chaudhry Zulifqar, president of the Lahore Bar Association, said that Advocate Fouzia Bashir was injured by her relatives a few days back after which she went to the Shadbagh police station to lodge an FIR. He said that the time lost at the police station resulted in her death from excessive bleeding. He said that police had also failed to arrest the suspects.
