Giari tragedy: Two more bodies recovered

The soldiers belong to Skardu and Gamba.

RAWALPINDI: The number of bodies of soldiers recovered from the avalanche site in the Giari sector has reached six, after two more bodies were recovered on Tuesday. The two bodies recovered on Monday have also been identified as sepoy Ali Muhammad and sepoy Muhammad Akbar, according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). The soldiers belong to Skardu and Gamba, respectively. On April 7, 139 people from the Six North Light Infantry Battalion were struck by an avalanche after a snow slide.
