First-year bds results: University announced fair results: KU official
Objective part of exam was scanned by software, theory exam was assessed by faculty of affiliated private colleges.
KARACHI:
The Karachi University (KU) administration on Monday rejected the protest of students who failed in their BDS examination. Referring to students’ protest, an official of the KU said that the university had announced fair results and bears no responsibility for getting the students passed or failed in their examinations.
“The board of studies of medicine and dentistry nominates examiners for the assessment of answer scripts and the Karachi University is only responsible for declaring the results,” said the KU controller of examinations, Prof. Dr Muhamamd Arshad Azmi.
The 100 marks for medicine and dentistry papers are divided into objective part and theory.
The objective part of the exam was scanned through software whereas the theory exam was assessed by the faculty members of affiliated private medical colleges.
