Tribal area violations: Survey records illegal vehicle use

Around 400,000 such vehicles are owned by political officials, and khasadar forces, on ownership basis.

PESHAWAR:
A survey has shown that more than 200,000 police, customs and excise officials in tribal areas were using non-customs paid vehicles with relative impunity. These vehicles include more than 50,000 luxury SUVs and bulletproof vehicles bought from Afghanistan. Around 400,000 such vehicles are owned by political officials, and khasadar forces, on ownership basis.
