Boycott ended: DJ Science College agrees to administer examinations
Faculty members of the college had decided to boycott any further examinations at the college after the incident.
KARACHI:
The commissioner of Karachi, Roshan Ali Sheikh, has persuaded the teachers of DJ Science College to discontinue their boycott and administer intermediate exams from Monday.
The college was a designated centre for examinations until a teacher was assaulted by candidates on Thursday.
Faculty members of the college, supported by other members of staff, had decided to boycott any further examinations at the college after the incident. The teaching staff, however, was assured by Sheikh that such an incident would not be repeated and the culprits from the previous incident had also been arrested.
