Raid: Taliban’s ammunition bunker uncovered

SWAT: A huge cache of arms, ammunition and explosives believed to be owned by the Taliban was recovered by the Kanju police on Sunday. Acting on a tip off, the police raided a building in Damghar village and seized the contraband from a hidden underground compartment. The police also recovered documents detailing various bomb preparation methods and training material on advanced tactical manoeuvring of troops. A police official added that a few documents clearly mention techniques of attacking security forces and the police. Damghar village is adjacent to Imam Dheria, the native town of Taliban’s Swat-chapter chief Mullah Fazlullah where the militant leader had set up his head office.
