Sindh unity: Qadir Magsi wants people to shun politics of hatred

Magsi questioned that if MQM is not involved in a conspiracy to divide Sindh, why are its leaders silent.

KARACHI:

Sindh Taraqi Passand Party (STPP) chief Dr Qadir Magsi has appealed to the Urdu-speaking people to come forward against the politics of hatred and reject the slogans of dividing Sindh.

Speaking at the Karachi Press Club on Wednesday, Magsi questioned that if the MQM is not involved in the conspiracy to divide Sindh, why have its leaders not directed their workers to remove the graffiti from their areas. “Why are they silent and have not taken a bold stand against it?,” he asked.

“Sindh is our motherland and its geographical status is sacred for every Sindhi,’ he reiterated.

Magsi said that his party does not believe in divisions of ethnicity, race or religion. “We want to spread the message of love and tolerance,” he added.
