Ejaz Shah played a whirlwind 81-run knock to propel Al-Noor Gymkhana into the final of the 2nd Pakistan Champions League after his side defeated Faisalabad CC by nine wickets yesterday. Chasing a 111-run target, Shah struck seven sixes and five boundaries in his 51-ball 81 that helped Gymkhana sail home in 12.4 overs for the loss of just one wicket. Earlier, Faisalabad CC were bowled out for 110 in 19.5 overs as they struggled against the pace of Wahab Riaz, who picked up three wickets. Zeeshan Asif top-scored with 28 while Mohammad Laeeq chipped in with 23. The winner of the event will take home $20,000 while the runners-up will fetch $10,000.
