Golf: Woods has ‘plenty of time’
This week, Woods will play at the Memorial, a key tune-up for the US Open at Muirfield Village.
SAN FRANCISCO:
Tiger Woods answered questions from fans, saying that even at age 36 he has plenty of time to pass Jack Nicklaus in all-time major wins. Woods went on Google-Plus and repeated his belief that he will break Nicklaus’ record of 18 major titles.
“I figure it’s going to take a career, but I have plenty of time,” said Woods. He has not won a major since the 2008 US Open and has been nagged by knee injuries in recent years.
