Politics: Parsi leader joins PML-N
The Bhandara family owns Murree Brewery.

Industrialist and Parsi community leader Isphanyar Bhandara announced his decision to join the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Tuesday. He announced the decision during a meeting with PML-N President Nawaz Sharif in Jati Umra. According to a handout, Sharif welcomed Bhandara’s decision to join the PML-N. He appreciated the services of the Bhandara family to the national economy, politics and literature, in a period when investors were leaving the country. The Bhandara family owns Murree Brewery. Bhandara’s father MP Bhandara has been a federal minister and MNA twice. Bhandara said that the PML-N was striving to reconstruct and transform Pakistan.
