University association protests: Varsity staff to observe black day
FAPUASA complained that teachers in Sindh were not given the same rights as their counterparts in other provinces.

The Federation of All Pakistan Universities Academic Staff Association (FAPUASA) complained on Tuesday that the teachers in Sindh were not being given the same rights as their counterparts in other provinces. The Sindh FAPUASA chairperson, Dr Usman Keerio, along with other office bearers, including Prof. Arfana Mallah and Dr Azhar Ali Shah, presented ten demands to the government. “We will start observing black days from June 6 as well as start a token strike in all public universities,” announced Keerio while talking about the association’s plan of action.
