Women’s hostel: KU, ministry of youth affairs sign MoU
To construct a women youth hostel at the university.
KARACHI:
Karachi University and the ministry of youth affairs signed on Tuesday a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to construct a women youth hostel at the university. KU VC Prof. Dr Muhammad Qaiser and Sindh Minister of Youth Affairs Faisal Subzwari signed the MoU. It will help promote activities among the youth of Sindh and to provide hostel facilities to the women who visit the city to participate in seminars, conferences and other activities. The minister said that the constitution of Pakistan provided full participation of women in all spheres of life and they should be facilitated. Dr Qaiser said that the females of the province would be provided hostel facilities in a safe and secure place.
