Police claim to arrest TTP suspect in Karachi
Muhammad Yaseen also confessed to killing four police officials.

Police claimed to have arrested an alleged target killer linked to the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) on Monday. Officials said the suspect had been involved in the murder of four police officers.
According to a press release issued by SSP West, Pak Colony Police carried out a raid on a tip-off and arrested the accused identified as Muhammad Yaseen Mehsood alias Naib-Commander.
During initial investigation, the accused had confessed to killing police head constable Nadim Abbasi, constable Muhammad Sajid and sub-inspector Sibtain within the remits of Manghopir Police Station and head constable Noorul Islam within the limits of Pirabad Police Station, the statement said.
The accused, reportedly belonging to Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), is a resident of the Manghopir area.
The police recovered two pistols and two kilogram hashish from his possession.
His accomplice Wahab, involved in the murder of sub-inspector Sibtain, has already been arrested by police.
The accused, Yaseen, was wanted by the police in various cases including murders, drug smuggling and fund raising for the TTP.
He was also involved in creating a law and order situation at Kati Pahari and nearby areas, the statement added.
