Training: Book on broadcast journalism launched

The book 'Radio Journalism' is an addition to a small number of books written on broadcast journalism in Pakistan.

The National Book Foundation (NBF) has published the revised second edition of broadcaster Mahmood Hussain’s Radio Journalism.


There is huge demand for the book especially from mass communication and journalism students, according to an NBF press release issued on Sunday.

The book is an addition to a very small number of books written on broadcast journalism in Pakistan.

Since retiring from PBC as news and current affairs controller, Hussain has been associated with the print media.

He has conceived, conducted and coordinated courses and workshops for the Asia Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development, Kuala Lumpur, VoA, Press Institute of Pakistan and Allama Iqbal Open University. Mahmood Hussain also authored “Current Affairs Over the Years” and “Electronic Media Study Guide”.
