Animal offspring: Birth of a deer at Karachi Zoo

KARACHI:

A deer gave birth to a fawn at the Karachi Zoological Garden (KZG) on Saturday.

According to the zoo director, Basheer Saddozai, the mother and the offspring have been put in a returning room where a doctor, a zoologist and other staff members were looking after them. The KZG has over 950 animals of 107 different varieties.
