KOHAT:

The clash erupted during the early  hours of Sunday when security forces advanced to clear the area from militants, an official of the security forces said that this area was the stronghold of Gul Zaman  group, the Orakzai chapter of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

Officials claimed that they gunned down an important militant commander identified as Rahim, without any casualty from the side of the forces.

Security officials also added that they have started a military operation in Central Kurram Agency and Upper Orakzai Agency and have cleared most of the area from militants.
