Wanted: Arrest warrants issued for Baba Ladla

A judicial magistrate issued non-bailable warrants of arrest for Uzair Baloch and Baba Ladla for May 28.

KARACHI: A judicial magistrate issued non-bailable warrants of arrest for Uzair Baloch and Baba Ladla for May 28 on Saturday. The Crime Investigation Department police had submitted a report to Judicial Magistrate West Roshan Afzal, maintaining that Peoples Amn Committee (PAC) chief Uzair Baloch and Lyari gangster Baba Ladla were wanted in a case of possessing illicit weapons. The weapons were recovered from three suspects, who had confessed that they were supplying weapons, including rocket launchers, to gangsters in Lyari, the police claimed. According to the report, the alleged smugglers had claimed that the PAC leader and Baba Ladla received the illegal weapons. Baba Ladla was stated to be also wanted in the Shershah scrap market carnage case and several other criminal cases.
