Ladies you can breathe easy now, there is finally a style which is easy to adopt in Pakistan – covering up! Everyone from the ever fashionable Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton to designer Victoria Beckham to superstar Angelina Jolie are proving that more is officially more and showing skin is so last season, reports Daily Mail.
How did this happen you ask? Surprisingly it was Beckham who paved the way for this new style and is now rarely seen in anything more revealing than a high-necked, knee-length pencil dress. The rest of our favourite celebs have followed suit and sober silhouettes, high-necked bodices and full sleeves are now a common sight.
Celebs set the style and Topshop, ASOS and Oasis have followed suit offering a modest collection of half and long-sleeved dresses and shirts with modest necklines as well as long skirts.
However, remember that demure can look dowdy so be sure your hairdo is perfect, choose a bold colour, a classic silhouette and pair your outfit with a fabulous pair of shoes and bag and a statement piece of jewellery.
