The Board of Advanced Studies and Research (BASR), University of Karachi, has approved the awarding of twenty-nine PhD and seven M Phil degrees in various disciplines of arts, science and Islamic learning, said a spokesperson.
Approval has also been extended by the BASR for two MS degrees to be awarded. The vice chancellor of Karachi University, Prof. Dr Muhammad Qaiser has expressed said that he was happy with quality of research being conducted in the university.
