Transitions: Federal minster’s brother passes away
Minister for religious affairs Khursheed Ahmed Shah’s elder brother, lawyer Ali Nawaz Shah, passed away in Karachi.

Minister for religious affairs Khursheed Ahmed Shah’s elder brother, lawyer Ali Nawaz Shah, passed away in Karachi, on Wednesday. He was laid to rest in Old Sukkur graveyard the same day. Nawaz Shah had undergone open heart surgery a couple of months ago, but on May 13 complained of chest pain and breathing difficulties. He died at the age of 68. His namaza-e-janaza was held in Masjid Manzil Gah. A large number of people, including Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah, Deputy Speaker Faisal Karim Kundi, Raja Perwez Ashraf, Qamaruz Zaman Kaira, Agha Siraj Durrani, Ayaz Soomro, Murad Ali Shah and party leaders and workers, came to pay their final respects.
