Four FIRs have been registered in three police stations following the attacks on the Awami Tehreek rally on Tuesday when 13 people were killed, but not a single person has been named in any of them.
Kharadar police station registered one FIR (179/12) for the murder of six people and injuries to two dozen others. The complainant was Kharadar SHO Idris Alam Bangash. The charges are being filed under sections 302/34 (murder of more than one person, more than one culprit), 324/34 (attempted murder of more than one person, more than one culprit), 3/4 of the Explosives Act (use of explosives), and under the Anti-Terrorism Act.
The second FIR in Kharadar was filed on the chaos that ensued after the firing when men torched vehicles and shops. The complainant in FIR No. 180/12 is a sub-inspector from Kharadar police station.
No one is named in the FIR whose charges are arson.
A third FIR (94/12) has been registered in Napier police station for the murder of one person, Babar.
The last FIR (82/12) was registered in Garden area under section (302/34) against unidentified assailants.
