Hope floats

This is with reference to the article 'Hope floats as Karachi’s young blood dips in to help' (August 9). It is heartening to see the mantle of leadership passed to a younger generation to take up the cudgels and the baton of stewardship. There is no greater pursuit of happiness in life than to contribute to satisfaction and a smile on the parched lips, a starved weather-beaten living human being. Those who do this are doing a great service to their compatriots. I wish them all the luck in their endeavours.
