Changes and choices: Christian boy converts with JuD help
A Christian boy called Kamran Masih reportedly converted to Islam.
KARACHI:
A Christian boy called Kamran Masih reportedly converted to Islam earlier this week at a seminary run by the Jamaatud Dawa (JuD). Masih – who is now called Mohammad Kamran– read the Kalima in the presence of Jamia Dirasat al-Islamia’s Mufti Yousaf Kashmiri. Kamran was invited to accept Islam by JuD representative Hafiz Shahid Siddiqui. He is a resident of Shafiq Colony of New Karachi. According to a statement issued by the seminary, Kashmiri advised Kamran to learn more about Islam while Kamran “expressed his happiness” at having converted.
