Cricket: Bilal’s ton seals National Gymkhana’s win

AOCC thrashed by 52 runs in Pakistan Champions League.

Mohammad Bilal scored an unbeaten ton to help Lahore’s National Gymkhana defeat AOCC by 52 runs in their 2nd Pakistan Champions League match yesterday.



Bilal hit seven sixes and 10 fours in his unbeaten 108 as Gymkhana scored 169 for three in their 20 overs before bundling out the opposition for just 117 in 18.1 overs. Sajjad Mushtaq top-scored with 39 while Zubair Khan claimed three wickets to seal the rout.

In another match, Aamer Yameen bagged three wickets to guide Vital Five to a 38-run win over Agha Khan Gymkhana (AKG). Set a target of 158, AKG were dismissed for 119. For Vital Five, Muhammad Waqas made 45 while Hafiz Asad Baig scored 32.

In Tuesday’s late match, discarded all-rounder Abdul Razzaq smashed a 40-ball 55 as P&T Gymkhana edged out a three-run win over Combined CC of Faisalabad.
