Fraud allegations: LDA examines housing society records

The Lahore Development Authority has started to examine the records of the Mustafa Town Housing Scheme after receiving a number of complaints regarding fraud in the allotment of plots. The Lahore Development Authority Additional Director General (Headquarters) Mariam Kayani visited the record room at the Lahore Development Authority office in Johar Town and took the record into custody. A three-member committee, convened by Administration Director Khalid Pervaiz and including Estate Management Director Muhammad Numan Khan and Land Development Director Muazzam Rasheed, examined the file inventory and sealed the record, which includes more than 2,000 files concerning over 2,700 plots in the scheme.
