On Strike: Doctors demand protection
Doctors associated with Lyari General Hospital, Civil hospital, JPMC went on a two-hour token strike on Monday.

Doctors associated with Lyari General Hospital, Civil hospital and Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre went on a two-hour token strike from 12pm till 2pm on Monday. The decision was unanimously approved by all members of Pakistan Medical Association. Doctors did not attend to patients other than emergency cases during this period. The strike will continue until the rescue of kidnapped doctors Dr Faisal Iftikhar and surgeon Aftab Qureishi and adequate measures are taken for their protection.
