Government Jobs: Punjab CM ups women’s quota to 15%
The directives will come into effect immediately.

Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has increased women’s quota in government jobs from 5% to 15% while women’s age limit for government jobs has also been increased by three years.
According to an official handout, the chief minister has also made it mandatory for selection committees of all provincial departments to have at least one female member.
The directives will come into effect immediately. This is in line with a package announced by Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on March 8 on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
