Police arrested a suspect in Karachi for allegedly being involved in kidnapping and killing two women and later dismembering their bodies before disposing them off in different areas of the city, Express News reported on Thursday.
According to police sources, suspect 'Pappu' had murdered two women in the last two months along with his accomplice Rafiq.
Police had earlier arrested Rafiq on April 24 during a raid in Patel Para near Guru Mandir, after body parts were found in plastic bags spread across Saddar and Jamshed Town.
Rafiq, the 45-year-old rickshaw driver, had confessed to the murders when arrested and had said that his motive was to target sex workers. “The devil had taken over me,” he had claimed.
According to initial reports, Rafiq had picked women and taken them to his house to murder them and dismembered their bodies.
