Lubna Agha, died at her house in Boston, Massachusetts on May 6.

A leading Pakistani artist, Lubna Agha, died at her house in Boston, Massachusetts on May 6. The painter was born in 1949 and graduated from the Karachi School of Arts in 1967. She became one of the most recognised painters in the country at a relatively young age and won several awards for her work. Her latest work had been inspired by Islamic architecture and craftsmanship. It was exhibited at the Gardiner Art Gallery in Oklahoma in February 2012. Lubna is survived by her husband Yusuf, son Aurangzeb, daughter Diya and three grandchildren.
