Demise: PAF Faisal Base commander passes away
Air Commodore Akmal Abbas Khan passed away following a cardiac arrest.
KARACHI:
The Base Commander of Pakistan Air Force’s (PAF) Faisal Base, Air Commodore Akmal Abbas Khan passed away following a cardiac arrest, on Wednesday.
According to the PAF spokesperson, Khan was battling ill health for almost a month. His funeral prayers were offered at the PAF Base Faisal and his body was flown to Lahore so he could be laid to rest in his hometown. Khan leaves behind his wife, a daughter and two sons.
