Drinking water: Sanaullah inaugurates Rs6b project
The Rs6 billion project will be completed with financial assistance of the Japan International Cooperation Agency.

Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan on Wednesday inaugurated a drinking water project in Chak 7-JB near Ismaeel Road. The Rs6 billion project will be completed with financial assistance of the Japan International Cooperation Agency. The project would provide some 20 million gallons of potable drinking water in the city. He said the JICA project was the biggest project in Faisalabad and would be completed in three years. He said the project will also help increase per capita water supply from 100 litres to 130 litre per day. The law minister was accompanied by Japanese Ambassador Hiroshi Oe during the inauguration ceremony. MPA Khwaja Muhammad Islam and Faisalabad Development Authority Vice Chairman Mian Abdul Mannan were also present.
