Nurse rape case investigation concludes
Investigation suggests that Dr Memon of JPMC raped the nurse.
KARACHI:
Police completed their investigation of the rape of a student nurse of Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) Karachi, and have submitted the final challan in the court.
The main accused, former Jinnah Hospital medico-legal officer Dr Abdul Jabbar Memon, was presented before the court on Tuesday. The investigation report suggests that Memon had raped the nurse and pushed her out of the window from his apartment.
However, the court was informed that the final DNA report was still due.
The court will indict the accused on the 24th of August.
