Ammonia leak makes 63 people unconscious

Sixty-three people were shifted to Jinnah Hospital following an ammonia gas leak in a pharmaceutical company in Choong area of Lahore on Tuesday.
Sources said that three of the people are in a critical condition.
The gas spread at a rapid pace after a gas cylinder in the company exploded.
Rescue 1122 teams arrived at the spot and cordoned off the area to prevent more people from becoming unconscious.
Jinnah Hospital Principal, Javed Akram said that almost 63 people were brought to the hospital in an unconscious or in an injured state. He also said most of the patients are female factory workers who fainted from the strong ammonia scent.
