RAHIM YAR KHAN: A woman was killed allegedly by her step-father over a property row in Fatehpur Kamal on Monday. An FIR registered by Salma Bibi, mother of deceased Mehwish, stated that her second husband, Siraj Ahmed killed her daughter because she had refused to transfer property she inherited from her father (Salma’s first husband) on his death. She said the suspect fled the scene after killing her. Zahirpeer police have registered a case and started searching for the suspect, investigation officer Israr Ahmed said.
