ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rehman Malik said on Monday that the Sharif brothers were making political statements, contemptuous to courts and casting doubts on the legal process. “I appeal to Chief Justice of Pakistan to take suo motu notice of statements of Nawaz (Sharif) and Shahbaz (Sharif) and others and bar them from giving contemptuous statements to end the controversy in greater interest of the nation,” he told a press conference. He said Nawaz and Shahbaz should behave like politicians and not assume the role of judges.
