Diamond Cricket Club Islamabad beat Muslim Gymkhana Lahore by one-wicket in the Inter-City promotional cricket match played at the Diamond Ground. Batting first, Muslim Gymkhana scored 241 in 40 overs with Mohsin Ali scoring 79 with six fours and two sixes. Diamond’s Hamza Abbasi picked up five wickets for 19 runs. Abdul Majid took four wickets while away giving 47 runs. In reply, Diamond Club achieved the target in the last over. Sajid Ali top-scored with 88 off 90 balls, an innings that included 19 fours and one six. Moeid Shaikh scored 40 off 33 balls while hitting nine fours. Sajid was declared the man of the match.
