Ajmal Shahzad became the first Lancashire player to take a wicket with his first ball in the County Championship since 1914, according to Manchester Evening News. They finished against Sussex in an inevitable draw. The on-loan fast-bowler struck three times in his first 13 balls, including twice in his first over as Ed Joyce, Luke Wells and Chris Nash fell leg before wicket.
