Fatal accident: Child dies of burn injuries

A four-year-old child died on Sunday of burns caused by boiling milk.

A four-year-old child died on Sunday of burns caused by boiling milk. Dilshad Ahmed, father of the deceased Akbar, said the child was playing near the stove where the milk was boiling when he left the house in Qaimpur village. Ahmed, a milkman, said he got busy in another chore and forgot about the milk he had left on the stove. The child fell asleep near the stove and was hurt by milk that poured out of the container on boiling, he added. He was taken to tehsil headquarters (THQ) hospital where he died.
