Blind Cricket: Abbasi to lead national team
Imran Sheikh will be the vice-captain.

The Pakistan Blind Cricket Council (PBCC) named Zeeshan Abbasi as the new captain of the national team for two years. PBCC Chairman Syed Sultan Shah added that Imran Sheikh will be the vice-captain. “Abbasi’s first task this year will be the World Cup to be played in December in India,” said the chairman.”We want to bring in talented young players so that the team becomes formidable in the future.” Before Abbasi, Abdul Razzaq led the team but retired after the injury fracturing his foot during the India series earlier this year. “It was my dream to lead the team,” said Abbasi. “I have been taking guidance from Razzaq and will implement it in the mega event.”
