False alarm?: Two more ‘terrorists’ found working in Lahore
The two remaining Pakistani suspects among five declared terrorists by Indian authorities were tracked down by The Express Tribune and Express News on Friday.
After disclosing “facts” on three of the suspects, Indian agencies released pictures of the remaining two men, claiming they too are terrorists. In fact, both the men were identified as employees of Hafeez Centre and are currently in Lahore.
Amjad Ali Khan is an employee of a mobile shop at the famed electronics market while Nadeem Malik is running a business selling old mobile phones. Both have been working in Hafeez Centre for over four years, the President of Traders of Hafeez Centre, Fayyaz Butt said while speaking to The Express Tribune.
Khan added that an Indian number had repeatedly called both individuals and inquired about their links with possible terrorist organisations.
Leading Indian newspapers quoted the story published in The Express Tribune on Thursday, following the release of photographs of three alleged “terrorists”. Mumbai police claimed the men belonged to banned outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and had entered Mumbai.
After this information was unearthed, Indian authorities released two more pictures of other alleged terrorists to cover their negligence but The Express Tribune and Express News traced the remaining two alleged” terrorists, ”and they too were in Lahore.
The Intelligence Bureau had stated that five LeT operatives, in the age group of 25-30 ,armed with fake identity cards, had slipped into the country to carry out attacks on several sensitive installations in Maharashtra as well as Gujarat.

As a member of the Indian civil society... I thank you Tribune for bringing to light the inefficiency of our Intelligence Services. This will help to correct shortcomings, that mite exist on our side.

After Mumbai, it is better to be safe than sorry as far as our 'friendly, peace loving' neighbour is concerned. RAW is doing a fine job : we haven't had another Mumbai yet.

In advance, I'm not saying this is the case in this specific incident. It is still a factor with another unique and unpleasant aspect feeding the action. Law enforcement usually needs a crime to occur before they can act and do their job. People in charge of terrorist related monitoring have to rely on profiling, regardless of how insensitive it is. Their job is to act before a crime can occur, so, technically, they can't wait for proof and work on hunches no matter how bad it looks when they're wrong. Innocents will always be angry and the media will make sure they can't live it down too soon. It's simply a matter of valuing life over feelings.

Some of the members of RAW are also working for other international agencies.These international agencies do not want to see India and Pakistan to be closer. This terrorist revelation story is also part of these international agencies` propaganda through their RAW agents.
Indian intelligence agencies seem to be absolutely useless. All these accusations of brilliant spy work in Balochistan and Afghanistan seem to be just propanganda; they could never mount operations of such strategic complexity - given that they can't even figure out that they should always check in Hafeez Center before releasing photos of assumed terrorists.
