Financial assistance: Postgraduates to receive stipends
LUMHS has approved stipends to those postgraduate students who have been admitted to MD and MS part-I courses.
HYDERABAD:
The 31st meeting of the syndicate of Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences (LUMHS) has approved stipends to those postgraduate students who have been admitted to MD and MS part-I courses for the academic session of 2012.
The meeting was chaired by vice chancellor Prof. Dr Noshad Ahmed Shaikh. The meeting also approved the creation of various posts at the Institute of Physiotherapy and its rehabilitation. It was also agreed that proposals would be submitted to the governor, who is also the university’s chancellor to upgrade the teaching and non-teaching posts.
