Warid glow: Media festival held in Kinnaird College
Event was aimed at helping media students unleash their talent and expose their inner journalistic skills.

Warid Telecom’s Glow – a prepaid cellular brand targeting the youth in Pakistan – sponsored Kinnaird College’s Media Fest in its pursuit to support young leaders. The event was aimed at helping media students unleash their talent and expose their inner journalistic skills. The Kinnaird Media Society (KMS) and the college’s mass communication department organised the festival. Over 550 students of the college participated in four competitions. The KMS president appreciated the role of Glow in supporting the event and helping the society conduct their first Media Fest successfully. Glow is part of Warid Telecom, which launched its cellular services in Pakistan in May 2005 and is a joint venture between Abu Dhabi Group and Singapore Telecom.
